The West Marin Fund (WMF) awarded $55,000 towards “Capacity Building” in its Autumn 2016 round of grants – the eighth grant round in the past 4 years, now totaling over $475,000 to more than 50 organizations, all made possible by generous gifts from local donors to the Fund. This current broad category included fundraising assistance, hardware upgrades, community outreach, board advancement, and pilot projects. The small grants of up to $5000 help the many nonprofits that provide community services to the small villages of West Marin.
