2019 was another meaningful year for our Giving Through Youth program. Four classrooms, representing three schools, each received $2,500 from the West Marin Fund to re-grant to local nonprofits.
With the guidance of their wonderful teachers, students at Bolinas-Stinson School, Nicasio School, and West Marin School discussed, researched, made persuasive speeches to their classmates and eventually chose 11 West Marin organizations to receive grants.
We want to thank all of the students, teachers, administrators, and donors who supported Giving Through Youth this year, and congratulations to all 2019 Giving Through Youth grant recipients!
