Participants will learn how to create a compelling business plan, market their business, budget and manage expenses, and more.

Start Up West Marin launched in October 2025 and is supported by West Marin Fund, the Marin SBDC, and the County of Marin. It is part of our ongoing commitment to invest in local economic resilience and opportunity. The first cohort, which was delivered entirely in Spanish, consisted of 23 graduates with small business dreams spanning catering, photography, translation, landscaping, car detailing, and more

We look forward to welcoming a new cohort of entrepreneurs ready to bring their ideas to life!

Community support powers our ability to offer start-up grants to program graduates. If you’re inspired to help expand this opportunity, you can make a gift to support future local entrepreneurs.
