Community Enrichment Spring Grants 2025

By March 14, 2025No Comments

We are pleased to announce the latest round of Community Enrichment grants, awarding $40,000 to 13 local organizations. These grants, awarded three times yearly, support community events and one-time activities that strengthen the social fabric and cultural diversity of West Marin.

This year's February 2025 grantees are enriching community through a diverse range of initiatives — from cultural celebrations that honor our region's indigenous heritage to hands-on cooking programs that teach valuable life skills to local youth. The grants, ranging from $2,000 to $4,000, support programs that create vibrant gathering spaces, build bridges across cultures, and foster environmental stewardship.

"West Marin Fund's mission is built on the belief that we are stronger when we come together in community — to learn, grow, and celebrate," says Sarah Hobson, Executive Director. "We developed our community enrichment grantmaking to strengthen community engagement and foster creative and educational opportunities that create a sense of shared connection and joy."

As we've seen from previous Community Enrichment grant cycles, these investments can have profound impacts. Last year's grantees reached over 650 residents through health and wellness fairs, engaged youth in nutrition and mindfulness programs, sparked important conversations on Indigenous justice, and revitalized local cultural spaces.

The next application deadline for Community Enrichment grants is June 2025.
