The Giving Through Youth program encourages community service and philanthropy among young people by engaging them in decision-making on the distribution of grant dollars. As a result, young people feel empowered by becoming a helpful and important part of the community.

With the guidance of their wonderful teachers, students at Bolinas-Stinson School, Nicasio School, and West Marin School discussed, researched, made persuasive speeches to their classmates to choose West Marin organizations to receive grants.
