November 2014: “Professional training, consultant help, work site improvements”
The West Marin Fund granted $50,000 in 22 grants to non-profits up and down West Marin. The proposals ranged from building repairs at Gallery Route One and the Bolinas Community Center to computer equipment and consultants at Marin Organic and the Coastal Health Alliance, a new office trailer at Halleck Creek Ranch and new playground surfacing at the Shoreline Acres preschool in Tomales.
Wendy Friefeld of West Marin Community Services: “Thanks so much to the West Marin Fund for this support. This money really has an impact on our services as it’s difficult otherwise to piece together the resources for important projects that will facilitate our work. Without you, these projects can languish like a continual low-grade headache. We really appreciate all you do for our local nonprofits.”
Allison Puglisi of the Point Reyes Farmers Market: “Thank you West Marin Fund for helping us to continue to reach people from all over the Bay Area about our great farmers market. We hope that more folks coming from out of town to the market mean more folks in the shops and businesses of Pt Reyes Station! “
