The West Marin Fund starts 2014 with lots of action to report.
We announced a new round of grants, with a deadline for application in mid-March.
We announced a ConFab for April 3, on topics our non-profits say they most want to hear about.
We’ve been in the local papers, thanks to authors Ann Boren and Herb Kutchins and the terrific editorial staff at the Point Reyes Light and the West Marin Citizen.
We have house parties coming up in Stinson Beach, where neighbors will gather to discuss local concerns, and the work of the West Marin Fund. Others are in planning for Point Reyes Station as well.
With all this activity our staff, board and advisors are working hard to maintain our capacity to serve. We’re focused on fundraising (we solicit gifts over $1000.) and an improved database for better communications and outreach. It is a joy to see so much action, and to appreciate our community’s outpouring of response for local families in need.
